I frequently get asked the question about how much I workout; along with the comment about how working out and energy must just come super easy to me.
The truth is, just like you, some days I'm more motivated than others. There are days where my body is craving activity. I get the tingles and "ants in my pants" feeling and just need to MOVE! And, then there are days where I have to give myself a pep talk and promise myself some type of reward for getting up off the couch.
We all go through peaks and valleys. The weather, foods that we've recently eaten, our moods, stress levels....they all come into play.
Yet, on days where I know I need to keep my momentum going, and don't want to even get started, I tell myself that if after 10 minutes that I'm still not feeling it that I can stop. There's been fewer than three times when I've stopped. Truly, if you can get moving past the 5 minute mark, your chances are very high that your endorphins have kicked in, and that you're less likely to stop!
.Consistency is key to seeing results. All too often, because we lose momentum we give up...not just in exercise, but with our dreams.
So, my challenge to you is to keep at it! Every little bit counts. Even if it's 10 minutes at a time :)
